Pricing approach

How We Price Dental Website Projects

Every quote starts from a written scope, so you can see exactly what you are paying for. Here is how we put one together.

Short answer

Dentoryxa prices each dental website from a written scope. The scope lists every page, who writes the content, the features and integrations, the languages, the accessibility standard and the timeline. The quote follows from that scope. For published market ranges for dental websites in Canada, see our cost guide.

Why we do not publish fixed packages

Fixed packages look simple but rarely fit a dental practice well. A pediatric specialist practice, a general practice with one location and a group with six clinics need very different websites. A package priced for an average practice charges some practices for things they do not need and leaves others short. A written scope avoids both problems.

What goes into a written scope

  • Page map. Every page we will build, grouped by type: core pages, treatment pages, location pages, team profiles and policies.
  • Content plan. Which pages we write from interviews, which we edit from your material and which you supply.
  • Compliance read. A review of claims, titles, fees and any patient images against your provincial regulator’s advertising rules.
  • Design. Custom layouts for the main page types, with the number of review rounds stated.
  • Features. Appointment request forms, booking software links, maps, language switching and any other functionality.
  • Languages. English, French or both, with translation and review responsibilities stated.
  • Accessibility and speed. The standard we build to and how we test it.
  • Launch and handover. Redirects, Search Console set-up, training and documentation.
  • Timeline. Each stage, its length and what we need from you.

What affects the price

The main factors are the number of pages, how much content we write, the number of locations and languages, the integrations involved and how much of an existing site needs a compliance review. Photography direction and translation add cost when included. A redesign of a large older site can involve more review work than a new site of the same size.

What every quote includes

Whatever the size of the project, every quote includes a page map, accessible code built to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, speed testing against Core Web Vitals, structured data, a sitemap, secure appointment request handling, a handover session and the full source files. You own your domain, content and code.

How to get a quote

Send a short message through the contact page, or complete the project planner and email us the brief it creates. We reply with questions if we need them, then send a written plan with a page map, a content checklist and a quote. The plan is free and there is no obligation to go ahead.

Ongoing care

After launch, you can ask us to look after updates, hosting and small content changes. We quote ongoing care separately, based on how often your content changes and what you want handled. You can also take the site in-house or to another provider at any time.

What a scope summary looks like

A written scope is short and easy to read. For a single-location practice, the summary section might list:

  • Core pages: home, new patients, team, location and contact, emergencies, privacy and accessibility.
  • Treatment pages: the specific treatments you want to feature, each listed by name.
  • Team profiles: the number of dentists and hygienists to profile.
  • Content: which pages we write from interviews and which you supply.
  • Compliance read: every page, checked against your province’s advertising rules.
  • Features: appointment request form, map, language switch if needed.
  • Launch: redirects from the old site, Search Console set-up and a handover session.

Each item has a cost, so you can see where the money goes and remove anything you do not need.

What is not included unless stated

Photography, translation, paid advertising, social media management, practice software licences and ongoing hosting are not included unless the scope lists them. If you need any of these, we say so in the plan and price them separately.

Frequently asked questions

Do you charge for the written plan?

No. The plan and quote are free and carry no obligation. They take us a few days to prepare, because we look at your current site and your market before writing them.

Do you require payment up front?

Projects are split into stages, with a portion due at the start of each stage. The exact schedule is set out in the written proposal before you agree to anything.

Are prices in Canadian dollars?

Yes. All quotes are in Canadian dollars. Applicable sales taxes are shown separately on the quote.

What if the scope changes during the project?

Changes happen. If you want to add pages or features, we write a short change note with the cost and timing before doing the work, so there are no surprises on the final invoice.
