Short answer
Dentoryxa is a web design and development studio that works only with dental practices in Canada. We plan, write, design and build practice websites, with particular care for the rules that apply to dental advertising, health privacy, accessibility and French-language requirements. Our guides are written by our editor, Ryan Mitchell, and cite the sources they rely on.
Why focus on dental practices
Dental websites have a particular mix of needs. They must reassure patients who may be anxious, explain treatments clearly, make appointment requests easy and work well on a phone. They must also follow advertising rules set by provincial regulators, which restrict things many other businesses take for granted, such as testimonials, superlatives and some descriptive titles. Focusing on one field lets us build that knowledge into every page from the first draft.
What we believe about dental websites
- Clarity beats cleverness. Patients want to know what you treat, who will treat them, where you are and how to book. A website that answers those questions quickly is doing its job.
- Honesty is the right default. We do not use fake reviews, invented statistics or stock photos presented as your patients. Trust built on facts lasts longer.
- Rules are part of the brief. Advertising standards, privacy law and accessibility requirements shape what a dental website can say and how it should work. We treat them as design inputs, not afterthoughts.
- Fast and accessible for everyone. Pages should load quickly on mobile networks and work for patients who use screen readers, zoom or keyboards.
- You own your site. Your domain, content and code belong to you.
How we work
Projects follow a six-stage process, from discovery to launch. Every project starts with a free written plan and quote. We work remotely, can take on practices anywhere in Canada and check the advertising rules of the province where each practice operates. You deal with one named contact from start to finish.
Our standards for every project
Every Dentoryxa project follows the same standards, whatever its size:
- A compliance read of all content against the advertising rules of the practice’s province.
- Accessible code built to WCAG 2.2 Level AA and tested with a keyboard and screen reader.
- Pages measured against Google’s Core Web Vitals targets before launch.
- Appointment forms that collect only what the front desk needs.
- No testimonials, invented figures or stock photos presented as patients.
- A written handover, so your team can keep the site accurate.
These standards are written into every scope, so you can hold us to them.
Our guides
We publish guides on the rules and decisions behind dental websites in Canada, from advertising standards to accessibility and costs. They are written by our editor, Ryan Mitchell, and follow our editorial policy: primary sources first, secondary sources labelled, and a review date on every guide.
What we are not
Dentoryxa is not a dental practice and does not provide dental care or clinical advice. We are not lawyers, and our guides are general information rather than legal advice. We do not run paid advertising or social media accounts.
Disclosure
The owner of this website has commercial interests in web design services. Our guides aim to be useful whether or not you work with us, and they do not recommend specific providers.
