Short answer
Ryan Mitchell is the editor at Dentoryxa. He writes and edits the site’s guides on dental websites in Canada, researches the rules from regulators, legislation and government sources, and keeps each guide’s sources and review dates current.
What Ryan covers
Ryan’s guides focus on the practical rules and decisions that shape a dental practice website in Canada:
- Provincial dental advertising standards, including testimonials, titles and fees.
- Privacy for appointment requests and patient communication.
- Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation for practice emails and texts.
- Website accessibility under Ontario’s AODA and WCAG.
- French-language requirements for clinics in Quebec.
- Canadian Dental Care Plan information for patients.
- Website costs, structure and Google Business Profiles.
How Ryan researches
Each guide starts from primary sources: regulator standards and articles, legislation, government pages and official documentation from platforms such as Google. Where a primary source is not available online, or where a law firm or legal information organization explains a rule more clearly, the guide cites that secondary source and labels it as one. Every guide carries a review date and a list of the sources it relies on.
Ryan is not a lawyer or a dental professional. The guides are general information to help practice owners ask better questions. For decisions about your own practice, check with your regulator, privacy advisor or lawyer.
Updates and corrections
When a rule changes, the guides that refer to it are reviewed and updated, and the review date changes. If you spot an error, email hello@dentoryxa.site with the page address and the source that shows the correct information. Corrections are described in our editorial policy.
